Leopardspots Bengals are reputable hobby breeders of high quality Bengal cats based in the south of England. Specializing in Brown and Snow spotted and rosetted Bengals.

Based in Poole, in Dorset on the south coast we have a small breeding program of Bengal cats. Currently one of the most diverse breeds in the world derived from crosses between Asian Leopard cats [see image on left, picture taken by Thierry Plaud] and domestic cats this beautiful and enchanting cat has the markings of a little leopard with the temperament of a domestic cat.

Extremely loyal and unique this remarkable animal is a pleasure to own particularly for us, we had always dreamed of owning a wild cat like a leopard or lion, now we can own a cat just as beautiful but in a more manageable size.

All our Bengal cats are our pets first and foremost and all our queens live in our home we also have large runs outside where all our cats can run and play in the sunshine.

Bengal cats are highly intelligent, playful and make wonderful pets. They are always willing to learn and interested in what their owners are doing, some say they are almost dog like in behavior. They will follow you from room to room as you go about your business and rush to greet you when you arrive home. Although all Bengal's have strong characters all Bengal cats are individuals and all are unique.

Kittens

All of our Bengal kittens are lovingly reared within our house and very often our bedroom. They grow up as part of our family with our two small children. We occasionally have kittens available of pet, show and breeding quality from F4 onwards and although we are sad to lose them we are happy to see them go to loving homes.

Not only bred for temperament, we are currently breeding from some of the top bloodlines in the world. Producing clear coated, well marked Brown and Snow spotted and rosetted Bengal kittens with silky glittered coats. However we only breed a small number of kittens each year and believe in quality not quantity.

The Story of Taz

We rescued Taz from his previous owners who bred him when we saw the conditions he was being kept. He was kept in a small pen with no access to fresh air or sunlight ands only saw people at feeding times. Due to how Taz was reared we had to work hard to gain his trust. Eventually he began to trust us more and more he was still wary but we felt it was time for him to go to a new home. Because Taz was very shy we knew it was going to have to be a very special home.

Taz found a magnificent home beyond our wildest dreams....A hundred acre farm in Devon. Taz finally got the freedom he deserved and we would like to thank his new owners for their love, patience and for giving Taz such a wonderful home.
